Julie Williams, LPC, CAADC has been providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and within the behavioral health field since 2005, and worked within the mental health and substance use field for 20 years. Julie has extensive program development experience.. Julie is dedicated to helping persons achieve life balance and achieve their therapeutic and programmatic goals, through specialized clinical guidance and support. Julie provides support for the times life gets out of balance.

Additionally, she utilizes dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness therapeutic techniques for those enrolled in therapeutic services. Julie strives to create a positive atmosphere and engages strength-based interventions to support people through the change process.

She sees clients for a variety of reasons including medical trauma experience, immune issues, cancer, anxiety, depression, divorce, emotional growth and development, self-esteem building, substance use issues, grief and loss, life transitions, mood disorders, parenting, relationship issues, and work stress. Julie also provides customized programs for each individual.

She understands the life impacts of the experience of a medical trauma event. She understands the perseverance required. Julie has first hand experience with getting her life back after a medical trauma.

She also has a specialty in helping athletes. As an Academic All-American Division I athlete alumni she understands the special needs of athletes.

Julie has vast supervision experience. She has keen skills to help develop professionals to reach a new level in their career. She enjoys working with persons under licensure supervision. She works to assure a solid foundation of skills are built and provides ways to develop therapeutic interventions.

Julie has the ability to provide consultative services. She been developing programs for 16 years and has an extensive leadership and knowledgebase in program development and implementation with various diverse populations in the field of behavioral health.

Julie has experience in both Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health program development. She aspires to assure the best care for those served. No project is too big or small. Julie’s extensive background also includes the ability to offer specialized trainings and consultations.
