My goal, essentially, is to put myself out of work by being an effective therapist for my clients. For me, being effective means helping clients succeed in learning new skills, developing upon skills they already have, and reaching their goals. In other words, helping my clients get to a place where they don’t need my services anymore. Compassion for others and wanting to help folks is what started me on a path to becoming a therapist, but seeing my clients grow stronger and succeed is what makes me happy to come to work every day. This is what makes me love my work!

I’ve worked within the social services field for more than 10 years, predominantly with children and families. I have extensive knowledge of the child welfare system and working with children who have experienced trauma. I also have special training in providing therapy services to individuals who have been diagnosed with personality disorders.

I started my own small practice because therapy isn’t supposed to be all about billing for as much time as you can, or about bureaucracy. Therapy is about providing a safe and comfortable environment where people feel heard and supported. Please feel free to reach out for a free consultation.
