Counselling Merseyside understands that life can be overwhelming at times. We also know that seeing a counsellor or therapist can be quite frightening the first time. If you choose to contact us, your enquiry will be treated in confidence and one of our experienced counsellors will put you at ease.

People from all walks of life seek counselling. You may find you’re struggling with relationships, or crisis in your personal life, or perhaps you’re experiencing anxiety over work issues, facing bereavement, illness or a broken relationship. You may even have feelings of hopelessness, a lack of self-worth or confidence, depression or stress, or maybe the cause is related to your past. Whatever it is, you can bring it to counselling. Counselling can help you to reflect and work through any problems in an understanding, secure and safe environment. You will not be judged or criticised for who you are or how you are feeling.

Counselling Merseyside offers a range of professional counselling therapies, hypnotherapy, NLP and training across Merseyside. We provide a warm, personal and confidential face-to-face, telephone, Skype or online counselling service. We work with you in an integrative manner, which means we will use a combination of techniques such as CBT, psychodynamic counselling, hypnotherapy etc. tailored to your specific needs.

Our Counsellors and Therapists

All our counsellors and therapists are professionally accredited or working towards accreditation with either the UKCP or the BACP. As such we are bound by their ‘code of ethics’ and are subject to their complaints procedure. We are also required to be in regular liaison with a clinical supervisor to ensure ethical practice.
