I am a Humanistic Integrative counsellor and my work is underpinned by Gestalt Therapy. It is my understanding that we develop patterns of behaviour and relating that were necessary to navigate growing up in whatever particular environment we grew up in. These patterns become automatic and we can find ourselves not knowing why we keep getting into the same difficult relationships and situations.
