Hi, I’m Mags and I’m a qualified counsellor and work with adults and young people from my counselling room in Dean Clough in Halifax and also by telephone if that’s more convenient for you.

I’ve worked with people who have experienced abuse and trauma and also people who are dealing with life changes such as bereavement, divorce, miscarriages or relationship issues. I’ve also got experience of helping people deal with work related issues such as stress, anxiety, bullying or redundancy. I feel I am down to earth and approachable and my aim is not to tell you what to do; but give you dedicated time where you can work through the issues or concerns that are troubling you in your own time, and in your own way.

Counselling isn’t just a chat though, and my purpose is to offer you an impartial, professional, but caring relationship which allows you to work through your issues and concerns to come up with your own answers and solutions to the difficulties you are currently facing.
