Mental health problems cost UK employers an estimated £30 billion a year through reduced productivity, absence and recruitment.

Good companies will often invest in employees physical health but they find it much harder to address their mental well-being. Psychological problems are normally kept well hidden and start in circumstances that employers often know nothing about and are therefore pretty powerless to change or support.
So, to help address what is an increasing problem, I’ve created Positive Potential®. It is a fully researched and proven method to help your staff maintain, or create, happy, healthy minds.
Positive Potential will help your staff understand the power they have over their own thoughts and feelings and empower them to both monitor and manage their own mental wellbeing. In doing so they’ll be able to reducing both stress and anxiety – which can lead to depression and more serious mental health problems.
Positive Potential doesn’t require any third party involvement. It’s designed to sit alongside other training materials as a mindset course suitable for all staff, thereby avoiding the negative stigma sometimes attached to mental health issues.
It’s also simple and straightforward to use. You provide your staff with the Positive Potential training kits and they work through them supported by our online resources. Individuals can use their own circumstances to create a bespoke plan for how they personally stay well and motivated.
For clients who would like to more fully integrate the Positive Potential scheme into the workplace we offer workshops or one to one sessions with our Positive Potential Practitioners and we can train your managers to deliver additional support in house.
